Player Eligibility and Rosters

Rosters

When we accept teams to the tournament they will be required to provide an official roster printed from the eAYSO registration system.

All players must come from the same AYSO Region, although guest players may be accepted (as described below).

Please note that we have the following restrictions on roster size, based on AYSO National policies:

U10 rosters are limited to 10 players.
U12 rosters are limited to 12 players.
U14 rosters are limited to 15 players.
U16 and U19 rosters are limited to 18 players.

Coach information, including certification, must be printed on the roster, and it must be printed by eAYSO (not handwritten or manually typed in). All coaches must be Safe Haven Certified or they will not be allowed to coach at the tournament.

Player Eligibility

All players must be registered with AYSO and have played during the fall 2008 AYSO season. Registering players for the sole purpose of participating in this tournament is strictly prohibited. Every player must have an AYSO ID number. If you have any questions about a player's eligibility please contact the tournament registrar at registrar@davisworldcup.org

Ages of players (boys or girls) for the 2011 tournament:

Division U10: born from 8/01/2000 to 7/31/2002
Division U12: born from 8/01/1998 to 7/31/2000
Division U14: born from 8/01/1993 to 7/31/1998
Division U16: born from 8/01/1992 to 7/31/1996
Division U19: born from 8/01/1991 to 7/31/1994

Guest Players

A maximum of 3 guest players are allowed.

A guest player is defined by AYSO as follows: A player on an AYSO tournament team who comes from a different AYSO team or AYSO region than the team entering the tournament.

To be able to add guest players to your roster you must submit a guest player form, which must be signed by the Regional Commissioner of the team, and the Regional Commissioner of the player.
